A Code Geass Anime Review For Information About The Series

This TV series has been a huge hit in Japan, as well as in other countries around the world, and if you search for 'code geass anime review' on the internet, you will find plenty of information about it. This series, made in Japan, came about by Sunrise, and the main character in the show is Lelouch Lamperouge. Lelouch's family is involved in the show as well. Nunnally is his sister.

The series is all about Lelouch and his troubles and triumphs in Japan. He searches for his mother's killer while looking after his sister and her special needs because she is blind and crippled. Suzaku Kururugi is one of Lelouch's close friends. During the first series, Lelouch also meets C. C.

C. C is a girl who shows up unexpectedly and saves Lelouch's life. This was when he was about to be killed by the Britannian Royal Guard. She took a bullet for him. C. C is a green-haired girl with a tattooed forehead, and she is the one who enabled Lelouch to have his power, or Geass. This power is also known as 'the King's power', and it allows Lelouch to have complete control over others. He ordered the guards to die, so they shot themselves.

Lelouch's new power helps him with his greatest desire, to create a place in which his younger sister can live in peace. He struggles through many battles to try and discover who is responsible for his mother's death, and to overcome the Britannian Empire. Lelouch has quite a difficult life because he has to act just like any other schoolboy at times, while at heart he is this hero with important missions.

'Lelouch of the Rebellion' was the first of the series to be shown. It was first premiered in October of 2006 on MBS, or Mainachi Broadcasting System television network. After the premier, it was available to all in Japan, on Animax, in November of the same year. The reviews were positive, and the show was a hit, which is why a sequel followed very soon.

The sequel was referred to as 'Lelouch of the Rebellion R2', and was made known to the public by a write-up in Newtype. This was in March 2007. This series had premiers as well, where the first episode was shown to the Japanese voice artists who played the characters, as well as to a couple thousand other people. These three premiers where held in Osaka and Tokyo.

In 2008, the series began showing in America. It was aired by Bandai Entertainment on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block. Both seasons were available in English. Shortly thereafter, the series was also shown to people living in Australia and the Philippines.

There are plenty of products sold that relate to the show. The music of the program is available on CDs, and there are books written as well.
