A non denominational church definitely carries a lot of benefits with it. There are many denominations that exist in this day and age, and some are even being formed today. Some people prefer to stick to the more traditional sectors, and others are more charismatic. However, this is a matter of opinion.
Sometimes the denominations that have been around for a long time come with a lot of traditions. Some people enjoy this, and others loathe it. This all depends on you and how you have been brought up and what you enjoy. Some people are in a comfort zone and it is not easy to escape from this. It certainly takes a lot of encourage, and often some force from a friend or family member.
People enjoy going to a church where there are a lot of traditions. Unfortunately, they only hear these things and not what they are meant to hear. It becomes like the army where they are doing one thing, followed by the next. The mind is so focused on this routine like ritual that the message is not even heard.
The problem is that they are so focused on what they have to do next that they are forgetting on what is most important. Traditions like communion and reciting the words set out by the priest come first. However, the message does not come first on the agenda. It becomes more like a ritual.
This is where it is more like a religion, which is done because it should be and not because one wants to go to church with a sense of passion. There is no spirituality involved in this type of service. If someone would to interrupt the service spontaneously with a word or saying something in tongues, members would become uncomfortable and start to complain.
One could say that there is a greater sense of warmth in a non denominational church. They embrace everyone, and they would accommodate anyone who wants to say something. There is no routine and this is what people like about this kind of church. It is nice going there not knowing who is going to speak or what songs you are going to sing. Sometimes you may have communions, but this is not always a done thing.
People who go to these places of worship are happy to follow the lead. Most of the time there is not one minister or priest. There are a number of people that will alternate in speaking and leading in worship. This is what makes it unique. People enjoy the fact that they don't know what to expect on a Sunday, and this is definitely something to look forward, both for young people as well as the elderly.
One can see by the size, that a non denominational church is really growing. People enjoy the modern feel as well as not really knowing what to expect. This is because there are usually a number of different people involved in the running of the services. They are also always available for the members, encouraging them at all times.
