A tree is representative of eternal life, wisdom, and sustenance playing an important role in everyday spiritual practice and connections. The spiritual meaning of trees dates back thousands of years and remains one of the most widely used in mythical tales and stories of inspiration and meaning. A closer look at the different trees and its meaning can aid in building a stronger spiritual foundation.

A large number of symbols have been associated with tree development and plant life including its undeniable beauty, strength, and the sense of eternal life. These magnificent plants possess deep root systems and branches that continue to grow towards the heavens in a mighty display of color. The different trees that produce fruit are recognized as representing the renewed source of life and energy.

While most people are familiar with the Tree of Life as mentioned in the Bible, there is not a great deal of knowledge concerning the same types of symbolism for different cultures and religions. The meaning that are associated with such growth are widely recognized today and includes a theme about energy and the establishment of roots. Such stories and myths can assist in developing the best possible outcomes for spiritual purposes.

The Mayans emphasize the importance of the Tamoanchan or mystical mountain that is regarded among the most breathtaking of places on earth. The practice believes that the tree has a connection to the heavens, earth as well as underworld where creation began. Regardless of the complexities involved in such belief systems, trees remain representative of union, the Divine, and new life. It remains among the most complex designs and is included in many meaningful stories that involve connection.
