Why Understanding Advanced Color Theory Painting Is Important

By Raymond Moore

In the current world, it is all about color; it would be a very dull surrounding if it were not for the contribution brought by colored objects in it. People believe that the use of colored items can be used as a form of communication. The idea is bought well by those who are either in entrepreneurship or those involved in marketing. Branding and marketing are influenced by different shading of items on sale. That is why knowledge in advanced color theory painting becomes very important.

When you look at an object, you see it depending on the way it will reflect light into your eyes. That is when you say it is red or blue. Looking at the object, peoples eyes will either like it or dislike it depending on that dye. Combining different colors brings out a different one, and the brightness of what is created depends solely on the choice of initial colors. For instance, if you mix red and blue you create purple shade. If you mix red and green, you get the yellow shade.

There are three main ones which are referred to as primary colors which are red, blue and green. All other shades are as a result of mixing these three or mixing secondary colors. Others known as Warm colors are those that are very bright, and the dull ones are called cool. This concept is what the designers and other creative persons use to fill our world with beauty.

Peoples brains can distinguish between what is likable and that which is otherwise. That means what they like is what their brains have created the positive perception about. Or it can be said they choose things depending on coloration on them.

Entrepreneurs and marketers use this theory when they are looking for the colors to use. One thing is very clear to them that if they are to create something likable by many, they need to know something about colors. They have to have colors that appeal to those who see it.

The perception created is what brings about the attraction to the particular item and later results in buying the same item. Therefore it can correctly be said that color theory is important for branding, marketing and sales. The result of any product is sales.

When you are thinking of marketing, you have to think about branding, and you also have to think of the colors. What you brand can be a hot cake in the market just because of the way it is attractive to the eyes. If you create something that it not good to the eyes even when it is valuable, you may need to spend a lot in advertising.

If you are an entrepreneur, an investor or a marketer, remember the success of your business depends on the way people perceive it. The way people perceive has a lot to do with the choice of your colors. Therefore make sure you involve an expert before you make your choice. The expert will know which of the colors will need to be mixed to bring out something that will not spend time in the market. The best choice of colors will give you enough clients and a bad choice will make your product miss buyers.
