There are people these days who may not have the means to afford any more clothes than thew ones they have on their very backs. You want to see if there are ways you can extend some help to them. A good way for you to extend some assistance would be through charity clothing. Instead of just discarding clothes off. You can get them donated instead.

Do know that dirty clothes will be accepted by these organizations, but if you are going to give these items out, then it might be best to take the right steps to ensure that they are going to be usable once they are distributed to the necessary people that will need them. Washing them again gives them a better chance to be recycled and worn again.

Make sure to donate some essentials a swell. For instance, throw in some bath towels, sheets, blankets and other essential items and not just clothes alone. They can be very handy especially for those shelters that take in animals. Towel and even those beddings that are considered to be threadbare can be every useful in these kinds of facilities. It is best to give them call first and ask if they can direct you to the right places. This way. You will know where to head to after you have everything that you plan on donating set and ready and packed in their necessary containers.
