Some Of The Greatest Names In Reggae Fusion

In 1960s reggae music was born. It is one of the many genres that exist in the current world and which has tried to maintain its beats and tempo without much alternation. It was first brought about by artists such as Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. Over the years, various artists made a point to make sure this genre caught on. Many artists have come up from all over the world to engage in the genre and singing. Most of them are very good at reggae fusion.

The first artist is from the country of the guinea. His name is Takana Zion, and his music career started at a very young age. When he first started out, his major focus was on the inequality in his country and in other countries across the globe. He did both dancehall and reggae, but he eventually settled on doing popular music. He started a recording studio in 2012.

Etana means the strong one. She is a female popular musi artist from Jamaica. She also has a little bit of a Swahili decent. Her name actually goes hand in hand with her character. Her sound contains popular music, jazz, RnB, folk, and soul. This is what makes it so unique. She at one time returned to Jamaica to emphasize on Rastafarian principles and respect for women.

Tarrus Riley, it is very unlikely to encounter a person who is not familiar with the name. He was born in 1979 in the Bronx. He is the son of Jimmy Riley who was a prominent reggae icon. Tarrus started his career in his teenage years. He released an album known as challenges in 2004 which opened his act to the major scene.

Jamar Ronaldo Mcnaughton popularly known as chronixx, is the son of popular singer chronicles. He is one of the newest artists in the scene as he was born in 1992. He began writing and recording his own music in his teenage years. This is before he was called upon to produce tracks for big artists such as Munga honorable and even the very famous Konshens.

Much like all the other genres, reggae also has bands. One of the most famous ones is roots underground. It has a total of 6 band names. They have managed to keep the sound of the of 1970s alive and at the same time passing across the message of the Rastafarians. They released an album known as the movement in 2008 and gravity in 2010.

Another famous artist was born in Spanish Jamaica. He has won the 2014 MOBO honrs. He goes by the name Stylo G. He, along with his mommy and brother moved to the UK when he was aged 15. Once he settled, he joined the underground scene. He maintained his Jamaican culture and mostly did popular music. He also borrowed dancehall aspect from his late dad poison Chang.

In the town of Falmouth, there emerged a ready by the name of Jah9. He was the daughter of a Baptist preacher. She moved to Kingston at a young age where she took part in the youth choir. When she got to university, she made Rastafarian friends which caused her to be deep-rooted in reggae. Sheldon Bernard recorded her ant the famous artist Beres Hammond discovered.
