Why Should I Hire A Destination Wedding Coordinator?

Weddings appear to be single day events for the couple in the eyes of guests but it is one of the most tasking engagements. In fact, a lot of people do not get the kind of day they envisioned. Being the first time you are planning such an event, there is a lot you do not know. To prepare a day you will never forget and then enjoy it without worrying about logistics, it is advisable to engage a destination wedding coordinator. But what do I need such a person for?, you may ask.

A realistic budget. Most couples will imagine the day without paying attention to the budget. Some end up compromising on quality while they could have gotten excellent value had they considered available alternatives. Others spend far more and thus do not enjoy value for money. Coordinators intervene to ensure that the budget gets you the day as you envisioned through excellent alternatives. Their experience and exposure guarantees value for money.

Working on minor details for the day including specific songs, time, speakers, etc. On the material day, you will be too occupied to know whether decorations were done or the color used, etc. Leave this to the planner to work on minute details.

Give new ideas. You envision a day based on the few weddings you have attended. However, there are numerous grounds, arrangement designs, music systems, decorations, etc you have never seen. Some of the ideas couples choose are only imaginary. Coordinators are exposed to a lot of venues and logistical issues than you imagine. They will polish the day using your idea as a framework.

Cutting the deal with service providers. You probably think that a Roman Pillars are very expensive. Or certain designs on tents, etc. Coordinators on the other hand have been in the industry and know the actual prices or packages offered. Trust them to get you value for money. You do not need to splash cash on services only to realize later that you paid margins above what is available in the market.

Creating a schedule that coordinates all service providers. A lot of people will be involved on the day. Some will be transporting people and materials. Others pitch tents while decorators have to wait for chairs and tents. If this is not coordinated and an agreement drawn, there will be a crush in some areas. Use the experience of coordinators who understand what comes first and what follows.

What about invitations? It is shameful to get a call from a friend after honeymoon asking why you never invited him or her. Coordinators work with you to identify the categories of people to be invited, their sitting arrangements, travel logistics, etc. Everyone you would have wanted to grace your big day will be there.

A relaxed couple enjoys their wedding and makes it more colorful. This is impossible if the burden of organizing is upon your shoulders. Allows a coordinator to take the burden away from you to allow you have a day of your dream. When reviewing the video after honeymoon, you will never regret spending the much you did on a planner.
