Discovering Reiki Tarot Cards And Practitioners

By Olivia Cross

Using reiki as part of psychic readings is a rather new phenomenon. Before providing readings using reiki tarot cards, invoking energy into different decks, or providing attunements, those providing these services need be aware of local laws and ordinances. Some of these laws relate to whether or not a practitioner using these healing techniques needs to be a licensed massage or physical therapist. While, those providing readings will want to check out the laws pertaining to providing psychic readings and other related services.

Reiki combined with psychic readings is a rather new phenomenon. While both have proven beneficial to millions, there are laws pertaining to each in some areas. In Arkansas, and other areas, individuals must be a licensed massage or physical therapist to provide attunements. Whereas, in some areas both aspects can also be illegal.

Those familiar with reiki know that there are three levels required to complete training and perform attunements on others. The first two are basic levels, with the third providing master level credentials in this holistic art. When it comes to combining these two art forms, it is often advised that readers complete the first two levels.

Often thought of as a technique in holistic medicine, the healing art has been used on a number of different conditions and illnesses. While some illnesses can be cured, others only comforted. When used only in readings, generally the reader will invoke positive energy into a specific deck or deck of cards to be used during a session.

Three levels of training are required for those whom wish to perform attunements on other individuals. These are Levels 1, 2, and 3. Once having completed Level 3, an individual can then provide services which include hands on techniques. For those only wishing to use the healing art in conjunction with tarot, completing Levels 1 and 2 are recommended.

Although, when used for treating anxiety and stress, results can often be immediate, especially if the individual is part of an ongoing holistic healing circle. Individuals often host circles in private homes and meet on a regular basis. For some, obtaining a private space or studio is more appropriate for providing attunements.

In some areas, Rei is translated as the wisdom of god or energy from a higher power. While in others, the art is practiced only on a secular basis. Depending on the religious and spiritual beliefs of the recipient, such terms may not always be appropriate. Sessions are often based in private homes in which secular holistic healing circles are held on a regular basis.

With rei meaning universal and chi, or ki meaning life, this healing art is a practice which uses universal energy in healing body, mind and spirit. As this source energy or life force surrounds everything, it is also a major aspect of the healing process. While akin to faith healing, this holistic art form has no ties to any organized religion though can often be described as a spiritual practice in some circumstances.

Ultimately, it is a healing art that when combined with tarot can offer individuals more accurate, timely and unique readings. Those using the art in conjunction with tarot often find that cleansing a deck and invoking positive energies before a reading can help provide better results. While attunements can be provided by one who is a master, a license in massage or physical therapy may be required in some areas.
